Many thanks to Jack Chandler who made the original pentatonic chart which I have remixed
5 positions of pentatonic with added notes of the major scale in light blue rings as to not confuse the visual forms of the pentatonic scale forms
Nice for learning major scales by adding the major notes (2 per scale ) to each pentatonic shape.
Also a way to connect pentatonic and major scales.
Note that minor scales contain the same notes but only start from another note (the 6th note of the major scale = 5 note of major pentatonic) If you are used more to playing minor pentatonics, just add the same scale notes to get your minor scale.
Some blue circles are part of two pentatonic forms because everything is a continuous scale along the neck. Maybe I'll make another one with every for apart in a diagram. The dark blue notes are additional scale notes that are not part of the 5 pentatonic shapes.
