The First Family of Roots - 1st Position
The 7 notes indicated here - all in 1st position - on strings 6, 5 and 4 - are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
The are the ROOTS of MOST of the OPEN CHORDS that we play on the guitar.
The OPEN 6th STRING E and the OPEN 5th STRING A are the 2 MOST IMPORTANT NOTES on the GUITAR!!!
We'll talk about all this in details soon... In the meantime:
MEMORIZE THE NAMES AND LOCATIONS OF THESE NOTES USING THE CORRECT LEFT HAND FINGERS TO PLAY THEM
(just remember - first position!)
